I cooked takikomi gohan with an earthenware pot called Donabe.
Takikomi gohan will be plump when use Donabe than rice cooker because the ingredients have moisture.
We use it many times in winter season, Japanese pot, oden, cooked rice etc.
I cooked to put carrots, lotus root, shimeji, deep fried tofu, light soy sauce, and sake on that day. I was sorry there was no konjac !
